We benchmarked the UK’s regulatory landscape for telecoms against other European countries. This involved creating a longlist of regulation that has been rolled back or removed across Europe but remains in place in the UK. A shortlist of priority areas was then determined, for which we produced detailed case studies.

We produced an in-depth study of IP interconnection in the mobile market for a policymaker in Asia. Our approach combined desk-based research and interviews with contacts in the industry. 

For a client in Asia we prepared a detailed cross-country analysis of broadband performance measurement schemes around the world comparing how they are designed, carried out, funded and how the results are used.

For a client in Asia we benchmarked the mobile regulatory environment in a handful of key markets. The intention was to identify trends and current best practice in regulation.

A study for a technology company that involved interviewing a number of stakeholders and understanding their views on spectrum sharing. Specifically it was about identifying what barriers they thought needed to be removed to make greater sharing a reality, particularly for 5G.
