Join the team and be part of a modern and growing analyst firm

Current vacancies (1)

Role: Analyst, London
Salary: From £38,000

Closing Date: 17:30 on 2 January 2026

Role

We are looking to hire an Analyst to join the team at Assembly. The ideal candidate would have a couple of years experience gained either in a similar role in another analyst firm, within industry, or in a policymaker setting.

You would quickly become a valuable member of the team, producing content for our subscription client base, and working on pieces of ad-hoc custom research. You would be given exposure to the firm’s clients, and have the opportunity to build your profile and network within the industry.

You should be a keen follower of developments in telecoms markets and the digital economy, with a firm understanding of the relevant regulatory and policy issues. All academic backgrounds will be considered, however previous successful applicants have studied subjects such as economics, English and politics.

Are you interested in competition issues arising from consolidation among telecoms operators or how regulators seek to promote competition and investment in the broadband and mobile markets while protecting consumers? Have you followed debates around online safety, digital sovereignty or the power of big tech? Or maybe you’re passionate about how AI should be regulated? In which case, we’d like to hear from you.

  • Developing subject knowledge by attending and participating in external conferences and events both within the UK and abroad (particularly Brussels)

Requirements

  • Awareness of the major themes and trends affecting telecoms and technology markets

  • An interest and desire to present content and data in a visually engaging way

  • Eagerness and willingness to use social platforms such as LinkedIn to share and promote content and the company
